The Audacity of Hopelessness
This piece by Roxane Gay in the New York Times reflects the views and emotions that many of expressed yesterday.
I enjoyed this insightful and well articulated article. Although it may be difficult for Americans to recognize this at this moment, Roxane stresses the importance of not losing hope. Now is the time, more than ever, for our country to come together. As she noted in her article, "Tomorrow, the sun will rise and the day will be a lot less joyful than I imagined, but I’ll get through it. We all will."
