Free To Be ... You and Me
Here are a few clips from Marlo Thomas's 1974 TV special, "Free to Be.. You and Me":
I remember watching these when I was younger. I'm pretty sure that my mom showed them to me. She's a 5th grade teacher, so I'm guessing she probably shows it to her classes too. This brings back a lot of memories for me and can't believe that these are from the 70's. I definitely thought they were more modern. I specifically remember the one about how crying is okay and I'm glad that these sentiments and ideas were circulating, or trying to, in the 70's.
